Call Recording & AI Disclosure

Effective: September 7, 2026
Last updated: September 7, 2026

The Crush It Engine platform, operated by Crush It Media Group LLC, answers business phone lines using artificial intelligence. This notice explains what that means for calls.

1. AI answering

Calls to a Crush It Engine-powered number may be answered by an automated AI assistant acting as the business's receptionist. The assistant can answer questions, take information, book appointments, transfer the call to a person, and take messages.

2. Recording and transcription

Calls handled by the platform may be recorded and transcribed so the business can review them, along with AI-generated summaries. Recordings and transcripts appear in the business's dashboard and are handled per the Privacy Policy.

3. Consent responsibilities

Call-recording consent laws vary by state; some states (including Florida) require the consent of all parties to a recorded call. The subscribing business is responsible for ensuring its call handling complies with the laws that apply to it and its callers, including any required disclosures. By default, the platform plays a recorded-line announcement ("This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes") before AI-answered calls. If a business disables this announcement, the platform automatically stops recording and transcribing that business's AI-answered calls — call metadata (caller number, time, duration, outcome) is still logged, and a brief automated-assistant identification line plays in place of the announcement. Changes to the announcement setting are logged. The platform processes call audio and transcripts solely as a service provider to the subscribing business; it does not use call content to train models or to improve services for other customers.

4. Voicemail and messages

When calls are not answered, the platform may record a voicemail and transcribe it for the business.

5. Questions

Callers with questions about a specific business's recording practices should contact that business. Platform questions: support@crushitengine.com · Crush It Media Group LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702.
