Voice Cloning & Consent

Effective: September 7, 2026
Last updated: September 29, 2026

The Crush It Engine platform, operated by Crush It Media Group LLC, can create a custom AI voice modeled on a real person's voice — for example, the business owner or a member of staff — so the AI agent answers in that voice. Voice cloning is produced through our telephony and voice provider. This notice explains the consent required and who is responsible for it.

1. What voice cloning is

A subscribing business ("Customer") may upload or record a voice sample of a specific person and have the platform generate a synthetic voice modeled on it. That synthetic voice is then used by the business's AI agent on calls. Voice cloning is optional and off unless the business enables it.

2. Express consent is required

A person's voice can be a biometric or personal identifier. The subscribing business represents and warrants that, before cloning any person's voice, it has obtained that person's prior express consent to create and use a synthetic copy of their voice for the business's AI agent. A business may only clone the voice of a person who has knowingly agreed to it — its owner, or a staff member or other individual who has consented. Cloning any person's voice without their consent is prohibited.

3. Biometric-privacy laws

Some states regulate the collection and use of voice as a biometric identifier — for example, the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI). The subscribing business is responsible for ensuring its collection, storage, and use of any voice it clones complies with the biometric-privacy and consent laws that apply to it and to the person whose voice is used, including any written-notice, consent, and retention requirements. The platform provides the consent-attestation tool described below; that tooling is not legal advice and does not transfer the business's legal obligations to us.

4. What we store

When a business enables voice cloning, the platform records the business's attestation that it has obtained the required consent, along with the date and the account that enabled it. The voice sample and the generated voice model are processed by the platform and its voice provider solely as a service provider to the subscribing business, to operate the business's AI agent. They are not used to train models or to improve services for other customers, and they are not shared except as needed to provide the Service.

5. Prohibited uses

A cloned voice may not be used to impersonate a person without their consent, to deceive or defraud callers, or in any way that violates the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law.

6. Removal

A business can disable voice cloning and request deletion of a cloned voice at any time from its dashboard or by contacting us. On termination of the account, cloned voices are deleted per the Privacy Policy.
